Painful HSG

I had my first HSG done yesterday and wasn't sure what to expect. Looking online I found it was either extremely painful or just like a cramp. Nurse told me it would feel like a reverse period. Lies!! It was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life! My husband could hear me screaming in the next room. Curious to see what others experienced!
