What do you formula feeding Mommies use to take formula on the go?

Trying to use on a budget. In house items type thing :)

I have a thermo at all times and since we never know what can happen we bring the container of formula with us incase we are our longer than expected or God forbid something happens.

I bought these on amazon for 10 and they are my favorite. They stack and each compartment can hold 3 to 4 scoops of formula. I don't like the munchkin formula holders and this fits in my diaper bag way better. For water I have a thermos that keeps the water warm.

I have two Kleen kanteen containers... one is big for formula and the other is small for a scooper (handle cut short) and a funnel to make it easier to dump into the bottle. Then a growler with water from home. Little man will drink it happily at room temperature :)

I have a little BPA free container that is big enough for the formula scoop and about 4-5 servings of formula. I also have a hydroflask for the water. The hydroflask is awesome because it maintains the water temp for long periods of time. In the summer I would out cool or room temp water in the bottle. This winter I heat water up to about 95degrees and put in hydroflask. So then whenever I'm out and about with my baby I can make up a fresh bottle.

Or, sometimes in the summer I would just pack a few premixed bottles and keep them in a cooler with an ice pack. I suppose you could do the same for warm bottles. Premix and preheat formula, put in hydroflask to keep at same temp then pour into baby bottle as needed?

Long story short - Tupperware and a hydroflask. :)

Formula should always be prepared by adding the powder to the water (not the other way around).  Babies r us sells formula dispensers for about $5. It's a circular ball thing with 4 compartments and a shaker lid so you can carry around 4 ore measured servings of formula in 1 container.  They're easy, economical, and dishwasher safe.
