I've been reading a lot of women who have experienced not having periods due to PCOS... My journey through PCOS has been completely different. I was diagnosed 4 years ago at 20. This only came about because I had beyond month long periods that was causing my body to pretty much dwindle away due to physical exhaustion.... fast forward a couple of years. After marrying my husband we decided to start trying... nothing has happened yet and it's been 2.5 years. Due to my extensive periods I've had the doctor ordered pills to help stop it 3 different times... in these 2.5 years my doctor has known I've been trying to conceive... this week he finally prescribed Clomid.! I'm so excited to finally have a fighting chance! I can't start it til my next cycle (currently ending 3week long period stretch with medication). But i can't wait. I hope this first round will work. I want nothing more to be a mom!
