A miscarriage followed by a surprise!

I found out I was pregnant on January 1st, we were SO excited! A week went by I got out of bed on January 8th and went to the bathroom to find myself bleeding intensilly. Immediately I knew I had miscarried my baby. Devastated and crying out of control I went to the emergency room where they did an ultrasound and blood test to check for preg hormones...well after long hours of waiting, they came back to tell me that they couldn't see anything in the ultrasound and my hcg levels were down to 5 and it was too low which indicated that I had miscarried the baby. They told me to make a follow up Appointment in 1 month from that date to make sure everything looked good. Well...February 6th I was at my ob/gyn hoping everything looks good!! She does the ultrasound and tells me my uterus looks great and everything looks wonderful and that it looked like I was going to get a period soon. When I was about to leave the room she asked me to go get blood work done to make sure my hcg levels were down to 0. A day later I got a phone call from her saying the lab test results were in and my hcg levels were at 400!!!! We are thrilled and can't believe we were able to conceive so soon after a miscarriege!! Don't ever give up people!!! 💕
