This guy is a jerk, he wants a rouse out of you. My ex said worse and I was polite to him and forgave him but I also forget him. He's not worth my time or my energy and he knows that and that hurt him.

I would suggest you do the same. Be polite to him, forgive him and forget him. Don't even respond. Don't let anyone make you feel that way. You aren't nasty. Hes just trying to get under your skin, walk away with pride and dignity.
