Mini Van time - features?

With a two year old and twins arriving in the next 7 weeks, we are going car shopping for a mini van. What features do you love in your car that make the mom life easier?

I'm a car seat tech in saskatchewan. I can tell you that the best can for car seats is a honda odyessy because they have the most top teather anchors and therefor the most options of where to put the seats. Next would by the Toyota Sienna. Dodge caravans and crysler town and countries are the worst minivans for car seats because they only have one top teather anchor in the third row and it's right in the middle meaning that's the only place you can put a forward facing car seat back there and then both outboard seats are very narrow and hard to fit anyone else back there.

I don't have it but the Honda Odyssey has a built in vacuum and that sounds amazing to me lol...

I would also try and talk to a car seat tech about what the best car seat options are. In most minivans your 2yo will have to go in the third row. Unless you can find a van with 3 across in the second row and the get 3 narrow car seats

AVOID Dodge/Chrysler minivans. The third row outboard seats have terrible seat belt fit... and there's only 1 top tether back there too.

We haven't bought one yet but we have been mini van shopping since our third is due to arrive in September. We test drove a Honda oddesy and all I can say is OMG it was amazing but they are one of the pricer styles of mini vans but they have everything.

I love my DVD player makes trips easier that's about the only extra feature I have on my van other wise I have a basic van 2008 Nissan Quest I love it

Following... my SO has an 10 year old daughter and we're expecting twins in July. Personally I think my SUV will work, but my SO keeps telling me it's not big enough and it's good to be too hard for me to manage all the kids in my car.

We have a Kia Sedona, I can get in to buckle my daughter in when it is raining.
I love all the space, we can fit the stroller and stuff next to it. And the seats in the back fold flat for more cargo space
 Because we got the sxplus the forward facing seats have to be in the third row right next to each other. I am pregnant with my second, right now my daughter is in a Britax marathon( rear facing until 4 hopefully) so she won't have to move to the back until then.

I have a Kia Sedona.. it has this little mirror that drops from the top center. My favorite thing EVER! I have an 8 year old, 2 year old and due in April. I can see everyone without having to turn around every few minutes or trying to see them in the rear view mirror.
