brown discharge after sex?! 😨

I am 12.5 weeks. Sex has been painful ever since I got pregnant- I am super tight down there and it's too much friction and sensitivity for me to handle.

We have only had sex 3 times since I got pregnant because of this. Last night hubby was begging for it even though I was dreading it! Sure enough, it was so painful- basically felt like losing my virginity.

This morning I woke up with what feels like period cramping and brown discharge, I'm so worried! It's the weekend so I don't know what to do or if this is normal...

Totally normal. Cervix is more sensitive and filled with blood vessels that are receiving more blood than normal. Especially post-sex, light bleeding or brown discharge is normal.

If you feel like something is wrong, or if you are bleeding red and heavily (like a period), check with your doctor.

Hang in there! I am learning that first trimester is a CRAZY emotional rollercoaster!!!

The same exact thing happened to me.  My doctor said it is normal.  I feel bad but no more sex for my hubby until our next appointment.  😉
