HPV?☹️

Question

So in my recent Pap smear I came out positive for HPV (high risk) and it's really stressing me out. Im gonna be making my appointment with my OBG/YN soon but  Anyone else deal with this? What was your outcome?

Answer

Yes this happened to me. I did have hpv and I developed pre-cancer cells in my cervix. I had a colposcopy where they use a colposcope to examine the cervix (feels like a pap smear only a little more uncomfortable). I didn't have to do anything or take anything other than vitamins (pro-biotics). And the pre-cancer cells went away on their own. I still have to have several pap smears a year so they can keep checking for it. I hope everything goes good with you!
