Period after miscarriage

Hey ladies, not sure if this is the right group to post this but I was wondering if any of yous could tell me how long it took yous to get your period after a miscarriage? I know doctors say between 4-6 weeks but it's been 7 weeks after my natural miscarriage. With my last miscarriage my period came back 4 weeks after (28 day cycle) which was my normal length of cycle before I was pregnant. So I'm kinda wondering what is going on with my body. My partner and I have been sexually active after this miscarriage with no contraception being used. The only thing I've experienced after I stopped bleeding is brown or white and on a few occasions pink thick discharge. But it's only when I wiped I've seen it then it stops (sorry if this is tmi). Don't know what to think. Any advice? Thanks
