5 Weeks - Bad Stomach Pains

I'm only 5 weeks along but within the last week I've had horrible stomach aches on and off that last about 10-20 minutes each time. I almost always end up having a bowel movement (sorry if tmi 😝) just before the pain subsides. No spotting, vomiting or sharp pains. Just an intense cramp-like feeling. My OB said it's likely a GI issue since I'm going to the bathroom, and said there's no reason to come into the office. Just curious if anyone else has had similar symptoms and whether it is something I should be more concerned about.
