changing baby formula

My 2 month old is currently on Similac sensitive. She used to have terrible gas (at least that's what we believed it was) and would cry for hours only at night. We tried the similac sensitive a little over a month ago and she seems to do pretty well with it. I recently got a sample box of Enfamil formula with three different types. One of them is the new Enfamil Infant, which is supposed to be very similar (as much as a formula could be I guess) to breast milk. I wonder if it would be worth a try? I obviously want my daughter to have the best nutrition (which I am aware is breast milk, however that did not work out like planned 🙁) and so I'm wondering if it's worth a switch for better nutrients alone. I'm obviously going to talk to her pediatrician first, but do you think the doctor would allow me to switch without an actual reason? Would it be better to just stick with what works, or try for something that could potentially give her more nutrition not found in other formulas?
