Advice for somebody struggling with body issues.
Hi guys! Please do not judge me for this post as it really is in the best interest of baby and i'm only just trying to overcome a bit of a "mental" issue.
I have always had body image problems and weight issues. I have been on diets and health kicks, had eating disorders (starving myself and over exercising)...been up and down on the scale more times than I can remember!
I never thought I would be pregnant at my heaviest weight (I am 190lbs right now at 5'5"). Before this I had just joined Weight Watchers. I was doing well and had lost 10lbs in the healthiest way I EVER have. Then BOOM we found out that I was expecting!! (yay!)
I just want to have a healthy and happy pregnancy and give our baby everything he/she needs, but i'm TERRIFIED of hating my body in the process. Can anybody help me who has had eating disorders in the past? How did you overcome this extreme fear? I hope i'm not crazy or alone in this. Weight has really been a mental struggle since being bullied about it when I was younger.
