When do you plan to start buying items that aren't gender specific (breast pump etc)?

I'm 10w and made my first purchase yesterday, gender neutral baby moccasins. ☺️ We've decided on a crib/nursery set from IKEA, and a stroller system but I will probably be in the second tri before we actually get them.

Oh shoot, I guess I should start now. I'm in my 2nd trimester. It's going by too quick! I feel like I still have a lot of time, but I guess I don't. I just started my registry. Idk which breast pump I should get though. My hospital gives out a manual one that I really like. It has strong suction, but I want to have a back up one in case they don't give me one this time. Any recommendations? & breast pads, which ones are good? Anybody?

Non gender items before finding out gender and then gender items after finding out gender but I mean everyone is different.

I am 15w5d & haven't started getting anything yet even though I know I should. I have no intentions on creating a regrestry & am depending on myself to buy everything for the most part so now I feel is the perfect time to start.. I swear it just doesn't seem real yet. I bet once I start shopping reality will smack me in the face lol.. But once you get into the second trimester definitely ..

I started before my bfp haha I got a great deal on a pack and play then a car seat stroller combo mega sale shortly after bfp as well as a rocker and bouncer already have a swing highchair breast pump ect so all I need are diapers wipes baby clothes blankets ect that will wait till I find out boy or girl I'm cheap I couldn't pass up on the sales when I knew we were trying just got gender neutral items so far

We are starting to look for things now, watching for sales/clearance items. I don't want to buy everything at once. I won't be buying too much before the baby shower though or before I find out if I'm having a little girl or boy.
