When you go out with your husband in the first six months of your child's life do you usually

My husband and I are arguing cuz I'm annoyed he's out...I'm more annoyed cuz he thinks the baby, now 3 months, should stay with a babysitter aka his mom. I didnt have this child to give to someone else. My responsibility. Plus I let her watch him for 1 1/2 hrs while I was at the grocery store and she couldn't follow basic feeding instructions. I EBF but long story I pumped. Anyway. I just want   me for now. What's so wrong with having a baby and a life?

I'd get a babysitter, but one that follows my rules. I think it's good for mom and dad to get a break together.

If she's not following requests I get not leaving baby with her. My LO is 5 weeks and I leave her with grandparents for errands, appointments etc. they love watching her. People give me crap over leaving a LO so soon after birth but I know she's in good hands and w cold and flu season I'm not taking her with me. Just my thought :)

Generally I would say take the baby with, but the point of a date is to focus on your spouse. Your role of mom is important, but you also have to make the same effort in your role as a wife. 
    I haven't had my baby yet, but already try hard to make my husband feel special.  I think leaving the baby with a sitter (one  you trust) is worth it if it will make your husband happy.
    Just a thought.

My daughter is 16 weeks old and the longest I've ever left her was 2 hours :) she's my best friend and I take her everywhere with me! There's nothing wrong with that :) I don't WANT to leave her and I'm so sick and tired of people telling me I NEED time away from her. No, I NEED to spend time with my baby because I'm honestly the only person she really knows so why would I leave her with somebody??

For the first 6 months I literally spent every minute with my daughter. She went where I went. That may not be for everyone but it worked for me and there's nothing wrong with it. And my husband never had a problem with it.

She is 7 months now and because I'll be going back to work when she's about a year old I've been practicing leaving her. I have left her with my parents twice. One time to go to dinner with hubby 5 minutes away and one time to go grocery shopping 5 minutes away.

People can say what they want. You do what you're comfortable with.

I love my daughter with my whole heart, but I am a firm believer that it takes a village to raise a child.  My husband and I have date night every 2 weeks and my daughter is having her first over night stay without me this weekend. She's 7 weeks old. She's staying with my mom while my husband and I go out with friends. There is nothing wrong with being away from your baby, as long as she is well taken care of. Take a chill pill and let a willing grown adult take care of the child. They might not follow your instructions perfectly, but it's good for the baby to experience something different than you.

If he's out partying.... sounds like you're in the right. Just my personal opinion. You can put your party life on hold for a hot minute for your newborn child & still recovering wife.

My DH and I take our 5.5 months old daughter everywhere since she was two weeks old! We left her at my FIL twice, once because we have a christmas party from DH's work (only 4 hours) and the other because DH had surgery (overnight). He follows every instruction and go above and beyond, even send me text and pic of everything him and his wife do with her. Give me confidence and calm my anxieties lol. But still we love to take her everywhere with us! Why can't we enjoy an evening with our LO?
