So for about half a year my niece and nephew (s) have been living under my roof until their parents get a place. The reason why I said nephew (s) because one is at college and comes home and the other just came out of a group home 4 months ago and the majority of the time he had an ankle monitor. As far as it was stated, my husband and I are in charge of them, including my mother in law. My mother in law has begun siding with me about a lot of things because she now sees where I am coming from, but with my sister in law in regards to her "kids" (she is their stepmother), I am wrong for saying that I will take their phones if they are on them past 10 on a school night, like phone calls, frankly I don't care if they play games on them, but if my husband does its okay. She threatened me on the phone and it's not the first and it's not going to be the last I presume. But here I am taking care of THEIR children, where they don't come tribute to food or any of the bills because since they have been here the bills went sky rocket high. And she says she has a problem because she pays the bill, I get it but rules are rules. My niece follows the rules but when I said something to my nephew this happened. I am completely washing my hands of them and changing the password to my WiFi that they use and no they can't use it because I pay the bill. But how else should I handle this situation....
