successful pregnancies with endo?

Question

We have our second appointment since beginning TTC in October with our OB/GYN this Wednesday. I have tracked everything since starting. We've been given the option of lap or Lupron, but she wanted us to TTC without those interventions first. I've only been treated with BC pills (which never did much anyway) in the past.

Can anyone shed some light on if they TTC  successfully with endo & no treatments first? How long did it take and what did you do?

Also, if you did have treatments to increase your chances, what treatments did you undergo, how did they make you feel, and were you able to conceive?

I'm not sure what to ask my doctor or what to do next. I just know that hubby and I want a baby and the endo pain sucks so bad.

We started trying in January 2016. I'd been having pain but didn't know why. In April I went for my yearly with a new doctor and I told him about the pain, he looked at my charts and bloodwork as I'd been diagnosed with PCOS and he said he didn't think that's what it was. I told him my mom had Endo and it all clicked. He said to keep trying. By June I was back in tears because the pain was excruciating. He asked if I'd be willing to start Clomid because he knew I wanted a baby and pregnancy is known for diminishing Endo symptoms. I gladly agreed. Four cycle later, the pain is so bad I'm taking hydrocodone two days a cycle and he talks me into a lap that I did not want to have, promising to be conservative and not dig too much as I was worried it would hurt my fertility more. After 11 months of trying, and a few years not preventing, I had surgery on November 18th. My next cycle started December 18th and I took Femara that cycle as well. Sure enough, the surgery worked and I am currently 12 weeks pregnant after trying for only one cycle after surgery. They've monitored me since the surgery had been so recent. I had a scan at 5 and 7 weeks to make sure it wasn't tubal and to hear the heartbeat to be sure it was viable. Just had my intake with that doctor two weeks ago and he just smirked at me and said "I told you so." Lol He's amazing and I'm happy I not only get my little one but I've been through enough with this doctor to feel confident I having him deliver my baby.

I got pregnant in April of 2015 and sadly we lost our sweet pea. We tried for 18 months after with no luck. It was crazy because we got pregnant the first time right away. Long story short I finally got the lap to find endo and it was taken out. By the grace of God, 4 months later I was pregnant! That's after being told by ivf it wouldn't happen naturally for us and it did!

17.1 weeks now with our miracle! I say do the lap! It's not as scary as it seems and it's the best chance you have xox

I was diagnosed with endo March 2016, and also found out we were finally expecting our second baby a few days after they diagnosed me. Our baby was born Nov 2016. 😊

We started TTC in nov 2015. Was diagnosed with stage 2 endo, which was extensive in August 2016 with lap and had excision surgery to remove it. Became pregnant 3.5 months later, which was exactly when my surgeon said I would be fully healed and most fertile. I know it takes most healthy couples one year to conceive. I really think my lap helped as I had pain basically all cycle long and I don't think I would've been able to conceive with that much inflammation inside. I would suggest having a lap with excision not ablation where the endo is actually cut out by a skilled surgeon. I also had a HSG to check to see if my tubes were open and they were. I had 1 laprascopic hysteroscopy done in May 2016.  I am now 7 weeks pregnant.   I didn't do anything else except that procedure.

I have had two surgeries, 3 rounds of Lupron. And continuous BC PIll all over the last 10 years. Over the last year we tried naturally to get pregnant with 4 months is Clomid. Still nothing. IVF is next plan.

Diagnosed with endo in 2012. PCOS March 2017. TTC since October 2016. Pain was horrible after going off the pill. Still lots of pelvic and back pain. Doc put me on Clomid. Offered larposcopy if I wished to do it again but I didn't want to at this time! Round 2 of Clomid 50 MG days 5-9. 
I would give it a try if your up for it. As for the pain, it will be unfortunately...good luck!!

I've had 2 laps & will have another next month. Still not pregnant & endo has really taken over my insides. I'd recommend seeing an RE as they know more & can help you better than your obgyn.
