I kinda want to know 😞😫

So I've been ttc for over 2years and nothing has ever happened😔 but lately like within the last 3 periods, after my cycle about 3-4 days I've been spotting and it's light but noticeable. And this last cycle came 2 weeks late and then tonight after getting home from work ready to shower it was there. I am the type to feel something and want to take a test 😩. I haven't done it lately due to the disappointment of a negative .. have any of you experienced such things or am I just hoping for an implantation ??? Please help
