Washing baby clothes??

Hi ladies! Is everyone washing baby clothes before they are worn?!

Yes! Who knows where they've been or what has walked over them. Wash it for sure.

I'm nervous to wash new born because some babies don't even fit in new born and I would want to return it if it doesn't fit! I will wash all 0-3 and the outfit I plan to bring her home in.

I washed everything in baby soap...new or used just to be safe....but I usually wash everything before using when it comes to clothes and bedding.....just personal preference I guess

I washed everything that was 3months and smaller. I left tags on anything I hadn't washed yet so I would know what was clean.

Yes always wash before they wear! Even your own clothes. As somebody who has always worked with factories and visited them, I know just how dirty they are ☺️ It's tricky because you don't know if the newborn stuff will even fit so maybe don't wash everything until you know. I had the same problem today but decide to just cut all the labels off and wash anyway! Happy washing 😊

I have washed all clothes right now with normal clothes soap since it was all given to me but after my baby shower this weekend I will be getting Tide Free and Gentle and rewashing all clothes plus bleaching all toys

Yes I will be washing all of her clothes before she wears them, or try too. Lol

I use purex free and clear, it is cheap, washes wonderfully, and besides we tried Dreft because someone gave us a bottle it broke out my first, along with the arm and hammer free and clear. Of course we washed before use, it's even recommended for adults because the chemicals they use on the clothes so they stay nice during shipping, and sales, and to keep insects and rodents off, are not good for anyone's skin.
