How much food?

How much are you feeding your babies?Either table  food or baby food-my little guy loves to eat and I want him trying foods, but don't want him to miss out on breast milk because he is full of food. He will eat a large container of stage 2 food if I let him right after nursing and then nurse a little while later too.

7 month old still breastfeeding about 7-8 times a day. We offer half a container of baby food at dinner time. He's 19 lbs and in the 90th percentile for height.

I always offer my breastmilk before feeding my daughter any food. She's not completely interested in baby food though so she only eats food once a day at dinner time. Occasionally I'll give her tastes of what I'm eating at lunch too. She'll usually eat about 3/4 a container of baby food. Breastmilk or formula is still their main source of food so just make sure to offer it before food and you should be fine

Mine has formula now but she's still drinks about 4-5 6oz bottles a day. A stage 2 veg around noonish and a fruit in the evening. I think they might be going thru growth spurt. Lately seems like she doesn't get full enough. Might have to up the oz.

Still breast feeding my son. He gets 1/2 a jar of a vegetable around 12:30-1 and the other half around 5:30-6. I give him the solid before the boob because otherwise he fills up on breastmilk and won't eat. Also, I've found that he was fighting me with the solids until I started eating with him. I'd take a bite of my food and then he'd willingly open his mouth for the baby food. It takes longer for both of us to finish eating but it's definitely less of a hassle and battle lol. He also gets a little water after lunch too. Breast milk is the main food for him though.
