Has anybody got Crohn's disease and trying to conceive ???

My mummy had Chron's it was diagnosed in her first pregnancy with my sister (she got pregnant on the pill) then she tried for me a few years later and it happened very quickly, then my brother came along as a surprise. I don't think Chron's affects fertility. Good luck xx

Hubby has crohns. He’s on humira avd I’m so worried that it will affect fertility

My sister has it and she has been pregnant 4 times. The last time she lost the baby but whenever she gets at least 4 weeks she starts having flare ups a lot.. But getting pregnant was not hard for her.

I've had Crohns 11yrs our daughter was conceived naturally within 3 cycles. she is now 9yrs old. However we have now been ttc no2 for 8yrs. Last week I was diagnosed with Endometriosis too. My IBD team have said for years when your body is ready it will happen, and that my Crohns is a lot more developed since 10yrs ago too so could be affecting our chances. I've gone from a few centimetres of bad bowel to my entire large bowel, colon and ileum now covered. This could be playing a big part. Make sure you are talking to your IBD team about your intentions to concieve xxx

I have crohns and am now at 21w5d! It wasn't too difficult to conceive. The only reason it took us a while was because some of my vitamin levels were low. About a month after taking the vitamins I needed we were pregnant. Good luck!
