Sending kids to bed without dinner?

What do you think of this parenting method? If you act up, you go to bed early without dinner.

The only time my child goes to bed without dinner is if she refuses to eat her dinner. I refuse to make more than one meal unless I am making something I know she won't eat.

Being fed is a basic human right like shelter and clothing, not a privilege...

Just because they act up doesn't mean they shouldn't eat. If they refuse to eat that's something else.

As a child I was never sent to bed without dinner, but I wasn't always allowed to have actual dinner. There were times my mother would make me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and send me off to bed before everyone else got to eat whatever it was she cooked.

I think this is pure evil. No child deserves to go to bed with a growling stomach. 
I agree with some of the other ladies, maybe make them a pb&j then off to bed.

I don't agree with that. Maybe take away dessert or something but to make a child go hungry Becuase they acted up? No.

Food isn't a privilege. It's a right. You take away TV or their electronics, not food. Not okay.

I never under stood this.  My sister in law believe in this and last time I checked kids don't behave better when they are starving.  
At least mine doesn't!!

No. Even if she acts up she will be fed.
Now, if I put dinner in front of her and she doesn't eat it, I'm not cooking again, no snacks, and no dessert. I'll keep her plate and if she gets hungry I'll gladly reheat it for her, but that's it.

I wouldn't say go to bed hungry as punishment. But if you don't eat what I make that's on you.
