When I was diagnosed with PCOS I was put on Metformin even though I'm not diabetic. I really thought it was going to be super hard for me to get pregnant but actually I got pregnant on the second time of unprotected sex. Just because you have PCOS it doesn't mean you won't be able to conceive or it will take you a long time. Good luck with everything.

My doctor referred me to a endocrinologist. (If you're trying to conceive you may want to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist who specializes in PCOS) who put me on metformin. I also researched natural supplements that are helpful be careful though there is a lot of info out there and not all of it is on the up and up

I went to my doctor and got recommended to a gynaecologist. They put me on metformin even though I am not diabetic as it can help regulate things and help with conceiving. I was luckier in the fact it didn't take me as long to conceive but I did suffer two miscarriages I am now 33 weeks along. I have good friend who also has pcos and has been trying 5 years and did hormones and still has had no luck :(. I wish you all the best.

I was diagnosed almost a year ago and was immediately prescribed Metformin. The Metformin lowers the testosterone in you body caused by PCOS. I tried to conceive for about 8 months before being put on Femara which is a follicle stimulator. I took 3 rounds of it and just found out I am pregnant with twins. I haven't seen anyone but my regular OB-GYN. I was never sent to a specialist before however now that I'm pregnant with the twins I have to go to a high risk specialist. It will happen I promise just don't get overwhelmed with tracking everything. Stress can always mess your cycle up so stressing over TTC is not a good thing to do.
