Does he like me or not?

So there's this guy who's like older than me by 4 years (I'm 20) and ever since I met him he constantly talks to me and even skyped with me on a christmas day cause I felt lonely. We even celebrated our bday together with friends and he planned it all out. Then recently one christmas party we got each other for secret santa and he wrote me a letter saying "If I ever smiled during a text, it probably could've been from you." So after all that we went hiking and he'd constantly ask if I'm okay or if I'm tired. Another one is he constantly snapchats me. So anyways these all happened during the span of 3 years ad they're all during winter/summer break. Once school starts he just ignores me and I give him hints that I like him but he says no. All the time! Mind you he's working as a high school teacher now. 😛 so what do you guys think? Should I just move on?
