Toddlers in the stall?

Hey! This isn't exactly a pregnancy question, but I wasn't sure where to post it. 
I see a lot of mammas saying their toddlers ask loud questionsabout feminine supplies while in public bathrooms. While it's all just child-like innocence and understandable, I don't remember ever WATCHING my mom in the bathroom. I mean, I know I was in the stall with her, but as soon as I was old enough to understand basic commands/ask questions, my mom would have me turn away from her and face the wall while she did her business. That started when I was probably about 2 so I don't remember anything at all!
My question is, how do you handle YOUR toddlers in bathroom situations? I'm not due until July/August so I'm a ways away from that problem, but I'm just curious :)

When my son was two, I took him to a work picnic. As he went around meeting my bosses and coworkers, he said to each one, "Hi. My mom peed blood earlier." He was never allowed in the bathroom with me again. 😂

My daughter is two so she's in the bathroom with me every single
time. She looks around, plays with the toilet paper, or (her new favorite) tries to unlock the door while I'm helpless with my pants down. We're in the beginning stages of potty training so now when she hears me peeing she goes, "Yay! Mommy did it!" It's like my own cheering section 😂 But I wouldn't be embarrassed by anything she said. if people don't know that kids say weird things sometimes before they know better then I guess they would after that haha

During a certain age (ex. 2 year olds) babies/toddlers are just in there along for the ride. They will probably play with the paper and watch you pee, but that's just what they do. They watch you and they learn what you do when you use the bathroom.
Once they're old enough to already know everything that's going on, they can face away and/or be taught how to behave in that setting (don't be loud, don't be rude, other people are in here).

My 3 year old comes in with.  I usually don't do my feminine stuff when he's around, but if he's curious I try to give it to him straight.  (Unlike my neighbor, who told her 7 year old daughter that babies come out your belly button, wtf 🙄)

Just yesterday we were at a Boy Scout thing with my elder son and of course my 3y/o had to go.  And I did too, since I'm preggers.

He asked me (with other people around ofc) if  "you pee out your butt."

I was kind of surprised by the question, so I just said, "no..."

"Then from where?"

"Out the front..."

Had we been at home, I might have explained the vagina to him, but I just couldn't really process it right there.  The answer was sufficient enough for him and technically not lying.

My toddler was in the stall with me until he could for sure stand outside of the stall and sing me a song without getting distracted. Kids RUN. They hide. They get distracted and wander away. And I don't trust anyone. I'd rather have my son in the stall with me (usually it's the handicapped stall) than to risk anything else.

My daughter is nine and although she doesn't go in the stall with me when out in public she is constantly in the bathroom with me. I'll ask her for some privacy , but I also don't ever make her feel ashamed.  Sometimes she wants to chat and I'm like screw it. Our son is 3 and we are just starting to get him out of the bathroom.  In public he's definitely with me as he would walk off or get taken.  I'm so protective I could care less about the questions and him seeing me sit on a toilet.  Idk...I'm teaching them boundaries without making it uncomfortable or shameful for them.  We are open about our bodies and bodily functions.  This is the way that works for our family.  Others do it differently,  just beware you're not raising a child to have severe issues with their bodies and nudity ect. ...

My daughter is 3.5 years and I don't make her turn around. I don't use or change feminine supplies around her, but I don't try and hide anything from her. We are a very open and honest family and we call body parts by their real names and explain what bodily functions are. We are setting the stage now for her to feel comfortable asking us personal questions and trusting that we will give her real, honest answers.

Not just toddler my 8yr old was in the bathroom waiting for me to finish she was out by the sinks. 
She saw the 50¢ pads and tampons she asked "mom what's in there" lol 
I told her the truth "it is an adult product for women." 
"Why do adult women need napkins in the bathroom" 😂
"It's called a sanitary napkin also a pad. Sanitary means clean" 
"Oh" lol 
I answer with truth but sometimes dodge the real questions
