How can you request a blood pregnancy test? Can you ask your primary physician for one or do you have to go to an OBGYN?

I just called my pcm and they gave me a blood test then a refural to the obgyn clinic

It's not typical unless you're high risk or have a history of miscarriage. If your doctor won't do it there are private labs where you can order it out of pocket.

I told my doctor that I was having pregnancy symptoms, no periods but yet still showing negative tests.. And I got one straight away.. Depends though.. Some doctors are ok.. Some aren't..

Blood pregnancy tests are not more accurate than urine dips. Blood draws are done to ensure hgc is doubling.
