TTC after miscarriage?

How long do couples typically wait before trying again after a miscarriage (D&C)? Any advice would be great. I just lost my first pregnancy and am at a loss

I just had a miscarriage(d&c) at 14.6 weeks. We started trying the 3 weeks after the procedure for infections. No reason to not try right away doctors say to wait a cycle to be able to tell better how far along you are.

So sorry for your loss. I had an early mc at 4 weeks on 1-8 we started trying right after bleeding stopped.

My doctor recommended waiting until I had my first normal period after and then trying again, which is what we did.

Sorry for your loss. I had a D&C on 12/9. My doctors said wait one cycle before trying again. Got my period 1/24 so we tried last week when I hopefully was ovulating!

I lost my baby Dec 18th at 12 weeks pregnant. I just had my first cycle and I'm really hoping for a positive this cycle. My doctor said there's no reason to wait.
