AG Dolls Underwear?

American girl dolls have recently made it so that their underwear is not removable but rather sewn on their body. Apparently this is causing an uproar because mothers are saying it's causing their daughters to be ashamed of their body. Others say it doesn't matter and that it's more appropriate overall.

Thoughts? Is this showing little girls they should be ashamed of their body? Or is it displaying positive modesty?

My barbie dolls underwears were plastic, and part of their body... and I grew up just Fine. Seriously  do women not have anything  better  to spend their time on?  I mean they arent anatomically  correct  to begin with so seriously Stfu.

I think it's good simply because it gives kids less chance to demand 50 pairs of AG doll underwear if it wasn't sewn on. That stuff is expensive lol.

I can't imagine caring about that. My dolls never had underwear but it's not like I related myself to their undercarriage, which didn't even have a buttcrack

To the mothers who think it's teaching them something bad- it's your job to teach them anyway. Not the dolls job. Teach them body positivity so that a doll wearing underwear isn't such a damn big deal? That doll will only teach them whatever you Fail to teach them. 
Plus, if dolls Really taught body positivity through what they wore, they would never be sold with any clothes at all🙃
