Is it weird to give your teachers a Thankyou Valentines card ?

My teachers are the best and Valentine's Day is about love and friendship? Is it weird to give them a thankyou card and some candies ?

I'm a preschool teacher I love it always. and they don't know it but I'm struggling this year due to the unknown future of the child I'm carrying if I'll see a heartbeat or not today on Valentine's Day. When my students gave me handmade cards with why they like me that their parents wrote it helped make my day better
