Is it safe?

FTM. We have a 10-11 week old baby girl and my husband just painted her room earlier today back to white because we're getting ready to move in a month. The window in the room was left open the entire time and most the day. The paint is dry but you can still kinda smell that fresh paint smell. My question is, is it safe for her to sleep in there tonight or should we wait until tomorrow night or even longer? Thank you!

Most paints are dry to the touch within 24hrs but the vast majority take 72 hours to cure. Full curing will take up to a month (but that's more about it becoming fully locked structurally on a chemical bond level).

My husband was going nuts with mini Reno projects during most of my pregnancy and was super paranoid about me being around paint fumes, so we did crazy amounts of research. When in doubt, by law, every paint manufacturer in Canada & the US must have full MSDS info on all of their paint lines available to the public (ours were all available online).
