Cycle day 9..... HELP

Hi I'm new here and I was just wanting to know what this means.... I woke up yesterday morning and I went to the bathroom and my underwear was wet, I didn't pee but it was day 9 of my cycle called my mom and she didn't really have an answer but Google said it was my fertile day. My periods have been regular since I came off my birth control pills Dec 20th. Am I ovulating earlier then I should be?
