Have any of you tested negative but still been pregnant?

Question

My last period started December 30th and lasted 4 days. I haven't had a period since. My cycle has been every five weeks. That puts me at two weeks late this Friday. I tested Saturday with a dollar test and it was negative. I'm just wondering if I should go get the blood test or wait it out.

I tested negative with my son. I tested 2 days before my missed period and got a negative and then the day of my missed period I retested and got my Possitive
