Would you leave your lover if you couldn't agree on having children?

I've always wanted children but my bf thinks he's to old n hates children.so I'm thinking about walking away (we've been arguing over in for awhile) and this is something we can't get past

Only you can decide if it's a deal breaker for you. I wanted 4.5 years of my life on a guy who was anti-kid (and also anti-marriage) and whose mind I thought I could change. Ultimately I realized I couldn't and a family is something I've always known I wanted, so I walked. That was several years ago and now I'm happily married and 33 weeks pregnant. :)

My BF, now husband, once told me that he was never having children because he had been left alone for about 10-15 minutes with a sleeping baby who woke and cried nonstop. I instantly told him we were through cause I couldn't be with someone who didn't want kids. I was bawling, he apologized and now we have 2 beautiful kids.

I never wanted kids, my ex did then supposedly changed his mind. Well, I accidentally got pregnant and while I wanted to put the child up for adoption, he went all bleeding heart on me about starting a family and guilted me into having a baby. Flash forward: I have this baby, only to find that he's never home to help, I'm raising her alone, he's stepping out on me with a wench down the road, and then tells me we're through. 😠😣

I thoroughly regret getting involved with someone who wanted children and even more, I regret being talked into changing my mind on it.

I'd leave personally because if you want kids and he's saying he hates kids I'm sorry to say but he wouldn't be that great of a dad more than likely so I would just walk away

It would be a deal breaker. I do NOT want kids, and if I was with someone who did, neither of us would ever be happy. I would want them to be happy as much as I want that for myself. (Luckily, my husband shares my feelings about parenthood.)

He doesn't want kids and I'd like just 1 even. We have argued about it before and I realized I am so far in love that compromises need to be made. After all no kids = more time with hubby

My uncle married a woman who had a child. He really want his own child and she told him she didn't want to have anymore. They were dating for about 6 years before getting married. They were married for about 2 years before he realized she wasn't going to change her mind about having his baby and they got divorced.
