Why are girls more valuable than boys

DO YOU NOTICE THIS TOO? In general let's say a couple has a son and a daughter.
When the daughter is interested in boys, it's time to freak out. If she has sex, she's immediately deemed less in one way or another. She's not allowed to hang out with boys even if they're friends, barely allowed to go out. 
But with the son, "boys will be boys" and he can pretty much do what he wants. He doesn't get punished for having sex or deemed less of something because he did. 
Boys are pretty much, less valuable than girls. (I don't think that, that's just what it seems like)

That's not what that behaviour means, though. The belief that a woman's value is in her body/sexuality and having no respect for her inherent ability to make decisions for herself does not mean she is valued by those who hold those beliefs. Quite the opposite.

Except in the workplace where they make more for doing the same job. Or around the world where women are treated like objects.

Why are we so concerned about girls being raped but completely try to ignore than boys can be and are in droves every day?

I have two boys i will not treat them double standard if my baby right now is  a girl im currebtly pregnant and dont know the gender yet !! Its how society sees it but not how i see it. To me its the same crap if your son knocks up lots of women u have these crazy baby mamas at your house stalking or w.e . if your daughter keeps getting pregnant by different men u have to deal with her crazy baby daddys . As long as you raise your child the best you can, everyone makes mistakes but your child more than likely will be fine :) ...

I've noticed it. And because of that, I now know how I need to raise my children to change that.
