Keep track of how long your baby is on each boob?  Is it necasary ? If so how ??

It is definitely not necessary at all. We fed on demand, it's what I would recommend.

Don't track feedings! You will feel so much better when you stop. Just go be feel. You're the mom you will know 100% if you're favoring one side or if you're near clogged

My lactation consultant told me to stop tracking and trust my instincts!

Yes. For me it gives me an idea when he will eat next. And I just start timing him from the time he latched on till the time he stops.

I do because it lets me know if he got some of the fatty milk. Sometimes he falls asleep like after 10 minutes and I know then I'll need to wake him up. If he eats for 20 or longer on one side I know he got a good feeding.
