As well as the humidifier, I propped him up in the crib with a wedge under the mattress, his head a few inches higher than his feet. He slept fine with that.

My (almost) 7 week old boy had a bad cold and I finally got a cool mist humidifier. I put it beside his crib and leave it on at night time along with elevating his mattress a little bit and he's now doing and feeling so much better.

I add pine essential oil to my humidifier. My pediatrician recommended it and it seems to help.
