Small Uterus
I'm currently 30.6 weeks with my little rainbow baby girl. After 3 unplanned pregnancies in 6 months (I was on birth control) this one finally stuck and it's been an emotional roller coaster- subchorionic hematoma that was one of the 1% that could've ended in miscarriage, complete placenta previa, so much more! The last 3 OB visits I've had (at 25, 27, 29 weeks) my uterus has measured at 22 weeks and isn't nudging. I'm very small to begin with, this is my second hopefully full-term pregnancy and I was small with my first but not this small and my uterus always measured properly. I've have 17 ultrasounds since 6 weeks along, the most recent to check the size of my little girl since I'm measuring 7 weeks smaller than I should be. The tech told me that my baby girl is actually on the larger end of size and weight for her gestational age, but of course after 2 losses and just being a normal paranoid prego I'm still worried even though my OB and my kids' dad are not in the least. It would make me feel a lot better to know other mamas have had such a large discrepancy between gestational age and uterine size- I'm curious how big your babies came out! I'm well aware that as long as the baby is measuring properly I shouldn't worry, but I feel like there is something wrong with me that my uterus isn't giving my girl the space she needs. Am I being silly???
