Should we just jump into IVF?

Alie
I have been doing some serious thinking and need some advice.
Background: my husband has good sperm count, decent motility, but only morphology of 1% (normal is >4%).  I have thin PCOS, not insulin resistant, AMH of 5. Cycles are 28-60 days, many annovulatory cycles.
We "didn't prevent" for 6 months, then tried OPK/temping/supplements for another 6 months.  Nothing. Took a break. Finally started trying again two months ago with two confirmed months of ovulation. Nothing.
Our RE recommended <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> or <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>. At first I wanted to at least try <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> a few times, but now I'm second guessing.  Insurance covers $20k of infertility. One round of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> would use that up. <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> is about $2500.  if we have a few failed rounds of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>, it will really dip into that $20k so I'm thinking just jumping into <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> since it's much better odds. I just don't know if I'm jumping the gun here. I know I haven't even tried naturally with meds yet but if I've ovulated on my own and it didn't happen what use is it?
Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? Does anyone have any advice?
