Happy Valentines Day moms !! I'm just doing another update on my sweet baby boy Carter . He's doing such an amazing job and is such a strong fighter for his mommy & daddy . He was having issues with digesting my milk so they stopped his feedings and did an X-ray on his belly. The X-ray came back a little concerning so they decided to continue his antibiotics and keep him off the feedings for 24 hours. On 2/13 I did my first skin to skin with him and it was soooo comforting and soo special to me and very beneficial to him . When I held him the nurse informed me that since the day he was born they were able to turn his oxygen supply completely off which of course made me cry like a mad man lol . Just knowing my baby was in such a relaxed state laying on my chest that he no longer needed oxygen for that moment really made my heart melt . Now ever since our skin to skin not only has he been able to feed again , he eats even more ! He's went from no feeding to 4ML every three hours and he's popping and everything as he's supposed to do . I'm so thankful for my baby boy and his progress and I look forward to seeing him grow and overcome this ! 💙💙💙💙
