Cranky

I was supposed to go up to the hospital for ECV, appointment at 10. Called up around 8 to confirm and also to ask if it was fasting after midnight or just no food (very quick phone call last night, instructions were minimal, and I have no memory anymore...). Was told that they had a situation 10 minutes prior, so I'd probably be late, closer to lunch time. They were having a shift change so promised to call back in a few minutes about whether I could drink or not. Called them back after 9, since nobody had gotten back to me, was told no eating or drinking, and also not to even bother going up (it's a good 45 minute drive, maybe more) until I get a phone call. Still haven't heard a peep, and my throat has been sore since I got up this morning, getting a headache, head feels very hot, getting heart palpitations, cramps, and definitely very cranky from lack of food. I understand that emergencies come up, but I have issues going without food for too long without being pregnant, and more importantly, I need water. And still hours before I get some...sigh.
