IVF and my marriage

Has anyone else out there had a hard time talking your husband into IVF. We have been diagnosed unexplained almost two years ago. We have tried everything. Including 9 IUIs, all different medications and every oldwives tale out there. With no success. Our doctor has been pushing for IVF for the past six months but my husband keeps telling me that it's not natural (and by the way it has nothing to do with religion).
I finally hit a breaking point and decided I was done trying (we have been for 4 years). I decided if he didn't want to take the next step to IVF then I was done with all of the pills and IUIs.
He then told me how badly he wanted a child of his own that he would do IVF. I have been doing all the prep and we went the other day for our teach class and to sign the paperwork. I am supposed to have my first scan on Friday and then begin stimulation on Monday. He showed up an hour and a half late to the class and then couldn't bring himself to sign the papers. Said reading them made it feel even more artificial. I don't know what to do.
He says it bothers him so much that we don't even have to have sex "like normal people" to make a baby ( that comment drives me crazy, I keep telling him that IVF is very common now a days). And then in the next breath says how he has always wanted a child of his own. I am trying to make that dream come true. We just need extra help to make it happen, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Has anyone else had a stubborn husband. And if so how did you make him comfortable with the whole idea of IVF? I am so torn I don't know what to do.
