35 weeks weight gain

I have gained 5 lbs in two weeks. I thought the weight gain was suppose to slow down in the end? I have now gained a total of 31 lbs. I wanted to max out at 30 by birth. I still have 5 weeks if I make it to 40 weeks left, will this weight gain continue like this? I have not increased my eating habits. I have been focusing on more milk because I was only drinking a glass a day.
