??? about ovulation

I've been using OPKs for three days now (I'm new to this) and the line is slowly getting darker. It's still not as dark as the test line but hopefully I'll get there. I'm trying to be more in tune with my body to catch exactly when.

I'm on CD 11 today and my breasts have started hurting around the outside. Does this usually happen right before you ovulate, as you are ovulating or just after?

I'll keep testing just to make sure it goes darker...hope I've not got bad OPKs that just never get as dark as the test line.
