Who else here has ovarian cysts?

As of today I got put on antidepressants because if this. I'm only 17 so I can't have a hysterectomy. I have to be strong & live thru the pain until we figure something out. I'm also on the pill. I have endometriosis, tilted uterus, and pelvic congestion syndrome. So you can see that I'm not living the best life right now. Wanted to see how many other girls have to live with this horrible thing.

If you want the hysterectomy, the doctors have no right to refuse you after you turn 18. Especially since it is medically relevant and not just because you don't want to have kids. Insurance should cover it to. I would talk to your parents and your general physician and look into a specialist in your area. Obviously you would be giving up having children. The end result also may not improve your situation.

There are options, just look at all of them before making a decision.
