How many days after starting headache and cramps do you get your period?

I have been on BCP for over 10 years and i would have a headache and cramps for maybe a day and a half and then get AF. Been off BCP for a while now and haven't gotten a natural period yet. Have had headaches and kind of cramping for two days now, waiting for AF. Thinking it should be anytime now but maybe it will be a few more days? What happens for you?

My first natural period after BC took 40 days to arrive! And I think I had cramps at least 2 days prior to it actually starting. Started out way heavier than what it was like on BC too 🙈 It's been weird trying to learn what my body's like without the pill!

Took a test after 2 days of the usual cramps with out my normal period and got a positive! Good luck!
