what helps backache during pregnancy?

had the worst backache the last few days, i've literally tried everything.. are you allowed to use a hot water bottle? I'm nearly 9 weeks pregnant ..

I use a rice pack every night:). It heats up and stays hot for a bit

I like to use a cold ice pack. Leave it on your back for 15-20 mins a couple times a day. Make sure you are wearing a supportive bra and shoes as well as both can help your alignment. Also sleep on your side at night with a pillow between your legs for better alignment. Take a warm bath if that helps to soothe or some stretching and yoga. To an extent though you can't prevent back pain as your spine shifts to allow room for your growing uterus. Hope you are able to find relief!
