hcg levels and losing my baby???

My hcg levels were tested at week 5 because I started spot bleeding. They were fairly low around 360 and when I retested two days later they were at 490 and Another two days later and they were at 497. They did not double like normal. Doctor said to prepare for miscarriage. Tmi ...I've been bleeding the last two weeks spotting then normal period and the last two days I've been clotting but not horribly. It's been two weeks and I'm in the middle of week 7 and my levels were at 5414. What is happening!?!?? Waiting to hear a call back from the doctor but I'm loosing my mind wondering what could be going on. anyone have any suggestions or thoughts? I still loosing the baby?
