I smelled vagina on his breath 🤔

Today I went go see my boyfriend , I hugged him and gave him a kiss. As I was kissing him, I asked babe what did you eat. It smelled like vagina , but I tired to alike I didn't know. I knew the smell because after he eats me out it's a similar smell. I wanted to say something about it but I didn't want to look crazy. When I ask him he was kind of jumpy. How should I ask him about in a mature way ?
