So my bf and I are both about to turn 16 and we both feel ready and comfortable to have sex, but the only thing I'm paranoid about is getting pregnant! I know condoms are decent for protection and I know that infertility runs in my family, but I'm so petrified of getting pregnant it scares me. Please help?!
 (also please no hate on my age? Its quite hurtful because I believe that I am mature enough and my bf is as well, I'm not just some dumb kid wanting to have sex)

Nothing wrong with your age, I had just turned 16 when I lost it. Just wanted to tell you NOT to use two condoms if you're nervous about getting pregnant, they're actually more likely to rip if you double up. You can buy thicker extra safe condoms that shouldn't rip and use hormonal birth control 😊

Ask about BC. Maybe tell your parents it's for cramps or something if you're scared to tell them you're having sex.

Ask to be put on birth control. If your scared that your parents aren't going to approve, tell them it's for acne if you have any or to have a regular periods. Double up on protection you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Condom should be enough protection but if you're really worried use a condom and the pull out method but if you want to start having sex and continue having sex I really suggest you go on birth control and don't worry about your age I lost my virginity 3 months after I turned 15
