Relationship Issue

I've been dating this guy for almost two years and he seems to not be ready to ask me to be his girlfriend. To this point, I am constantly sad and crying. I don't know what to do because it seems that all of my friends are moving on with their life (engage, babies, moving in) and I am just stuck. I really love him, but it's to the point that I feel so sad, depress, hurt, and just feel that there is something wrong with me. I told him of the happy news with my friends and he just brushes it off. It's been almost two years and he can't even call me with girlfriend.
