Let me explain. My bf had a DUI and 2-4 other traffic tickets that are still unpaid. The only thing holding him back from getting his license is a massive payment for the DUI. I maxed out my credit card gave him all the money I got for Xmas and whatever I had in my bank account to get $3000 fine paid so that he can drive by the time our daughter was born.
He has been slowly paying me back week by week, he has paid me back $1000 by now. And just recently he mentions to me that he got another traffic ticket.
We have also been discussing a lot about how he goes out to eat while he is at work. Even when I make him a lunch he chooses to go out to eat.
I bring my lunch everyday and I don't spend money on frivolous things. Especially now that my due date is nearing for fear I won't have money to get me by on maternity leave.
I was upset with him today because he went to the court house to go fight his ticket, than preceded to find out that he has to set a date to fight it. Now he says he doesn't have time to fight it and is paying it in full. Around $300.
I asked him if he has been saving for our bundle of joy and he told me that he has been giving me ALL his money and that I handle the $.
When infact he just bought a new phone without discussing it with me and the other mentioned above.
Can someone explain to me if I am in the wrong?
